Rebeca Ferrer

Rebeca Ferrer graduated in Midwifery of the City University of London (2016).
She has worked as a midwife in the UK, in Spain and for Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in humanitarian settings in Bangladesh and Central African Republic.
Currently she works as a Matter Subject Expert in Sexual and Reproductive Health for the MSF Simulation Team. 

She is a PhD candidate in Gender Studies at the University of Valencia. Her dissertation takes a philosophical approach to birth exploring the topic of criminalization of pregnancy and the profound implications of the systematic violation of rights for pregnant people.

She is a member of the Philosophy of Birth Network and she holds a Master in Human Rights, Democracy and International Justice (University of Valencia, 2020), and a Master in Gender, Sexuality and Society (Birkbeck College, University of London, 2018).
