Mariana Meneses

Mariana Meneses was born in Figueira da Foz but has her heart in Aveiro, Viseu, and Porto.
Her passion for Pediatrics was born from the desire to help children be happy. However, she quickly realized that caring for babies, children, and adolescents also means caring for their whole family.

She graduated in Medicine in 2018 and completed her general medical internship in Figueira da Foz in 2019. In 2020, she began her specialty training in Pediatrics at Hospital Pedro Hispano, which she completed in 2025. During that period, she spent one month in São Tomé and Príncipe working at a health center.
In 2023, she completed Level I certification in Conscious Parenting.

Mariana believes that understanding the unique dynamics of each family is crucial to providing the best care. Many areas of a child’s life influence their happiness and health, and it is essential to consider each of them. By looking at every child or adolescent within their biopsychosocial context, we can better understand the different aspects that impact their health. This approach allows us to prevent and treat diseases with greater empathy, effectiveness, and respect.

At UTERUS – Integrative Women’s Health, she supports and promotes the health of children and adolescents, helping parents, families, and other caregivers provide a healthy and happy childhood for children and adolescents.
