Diana Lopes

Diana Lopes is a physiotherapist passionate to empowering women through movement and health literacy. She earned her degree in Physiotherapy from Escola Superior de Saúde do Porto (ESS-Porto) in 2011 and subsequently pursued Osteopathy studies at Escuela de Osteopatia de Madrid from 2015 to 2021. Since 2012, Diana has been a Clinical Pilates instructor.

Diana’s professional journey has predominantly focused on women’s health physiotherapy, a path she embarked on in 2012 at UTERUS – Saúde Integrativa da Mulher. Here, she collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, sharing an integrative and salutogenic approach to healthcare. Over the years, Diana has engaged in numerous training courses, drawing inspiration from esteemed national and international trainers in her field.

Beyond clinical practice, Diana serves as an Invited Assistant Professor at Escola Superior de Saúde do Porto, where she has been imparting knowledge to health professionals since 2014. Additionally, she has been actively involved in NASCER POSITIVO, an international meeting focused on women’s health, serving on the organizing committee since its inception in 2017. As an advocate for women’s rights, Diana co-founded Vozes da Mulher – Association for Self-knowledge, Freedom, and Respect.

Diana champions evidence-based and person-centered models of care, striving to integrate her passion, expertise, and clinical experience into supporting women on a daily basis.
