REBOZO IN PREGNANCY AND BIRTH

The Rebozo is a Mexican shawl, also used as babycarrier and massages. Mexican midwives use the Rebozo to help the pregnant and birthing women to relax, so they feel more comfortable. Less stress, less pain. The Rebozo is also useful to help during labour.
In this workshop participants will learn how to use the Rebozo in their practice as midwife, doula, and childbirth educators.
> Ways to use rebozo to enhance woman’s well-being during pregnancy and childbirth.
> Massage with rebozo in different positions (sitting, lying, all fours).
> Different uses of the rebozo for relaxation in case of tension in the belly and/or in the lumbar spine.
> Closing massage – explanation and demonstration.
